Walking, cycling, about 3 miles, easy, paved road

Once you have reached the junction for Striglianella by car, on the way to Tobbiana, you continue by foot along the narrow paved road that runs along fields and olive groves and crosses the river Agna, punctuated by little waterfalls and bridges.
Once you have passed the Matteoni mill, continue until you meet, on your right, a monument built in memory of the five innocent people killed during a German retaliation. Always on your right you will see the “Lago dei Lupi” (Wolves Lake), an artificial lake for sportfishing. There is a slight climb to reach the village of Striglianella, at about 1,5 Kilometers from the starting point. The Church of San Pietro is the only remain of the ancient settlement, almost entirely destroyed during the second world war. It offers a wonderful view of the Agna valley.
